Before we switched, we did around €54,000 a year, with payment only at the gate through a kiosk. The forecast for this year is €113,000 — more than double.

I don't always fully understand why it's growing this fast, but fewer guests drop off during booking. People used to call because paying was difficult — that problem is gone. With 50 payment methods, most guests now book in advance, and the gate runs on a small IoT device that opens automatically once payment is made.

We changed nothing about the site itself. No extra pitches, no renovation. Only the way payment works. And still we're going from €70,000 to an expected €140,000 this year.

People used to pay at the gate on arrival. Now 90% of our guests book in advance through CamperPay. That means fewer last-minute drop-offs — and a lot less hassle for me.

I was curious whether this would also work outside the Netherlands — and the answer is: yes. We went from €50,000 to an expected €65,000 this year. That's 30% more, without any extra work on my side.

For a smaller site like ours, an extra €15,000 a year is really substantial. You feel it at the end of the season.
